La Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to how a company actively engages in addressing the challenges of sustainable development,¹.
At SITEC, we are fully aware of the ethical, economic, social, societal and environmental issues that will determine and shape the prosperity of tomorrow's entrepreneurial activities.
We firmly believe that economic success goes hand in hand with a strong commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility.
This is why we make it a point of honor to integrate CSR principles at the heart of our strategy, in order to contribute positively to society and build a fairer, more resilient and more sustainable future.
Whether it is about promoting the well-being of our employees, enhancing employability at a territorial scale, collaborating with partners who fundamentally share our values, or even promoting practices more respectful of the environment and our island, we are committed to long-term action and to drive a vision and also behaviors that support a "Green IT² ».

Safety, Health, Ethics and Well-being at Work
Health and safety in the workplace are top priorities for SITEC, as a safe and healthy working environment is the basis of a sustainable professional development and well-being.
To strengthen these standards, we act at different levels:
- Implementation of rigorous protocols to manage risks (identification, assessment, treatment and prevention) ;
- Installation of suitable and standard equipments ;
- Implementation of training programs focused on corporate safety and security in companies (risks and threats) ;
- Conducting security audits.
At the same time, we are ethically committed to adopting transparent, fair and respectful practices that uphold the rights of each individual (particularly with regard to the protection of privacy and personal data).
This promotes a climate of trust within the company, where working conditions are built on kindness, collaboration, integrity and inclusiveness.
Furthermore, we focus our efforts on the well-being at work through initiatives and actions aimed at balancing personal life and professional life (prevention programs, ergonomic workspaces, places for discussion and breaks, events organized by the sports and cultural association, possibility of teleworking, etc.).
In short, by combining safety, well-being and performance, we place both physical health and mental health of people at the center of our concerns.
IT as a sustainable solution
The technological shift in 2021 to a free cooling system for the Aiacciu Datacenter (transition to “Free Cooling" ) turned out to be SITEC's first truly large-scale project, reflecting an ambition for environmental excellence on the path to sustainable IT.
Thanks to this new technology and the implementation of air flow separation, we have achieved energy savings, in terms of annual electricity consumption level, of between 20% and 40% compared to our previous consumption levels.
A Datacenter Energy Efficiency Ratio (PUE: "Power Usage Effectiveness" ) now optimized logically illustrates a more efficient distribution of energy between the energy used by the IT equipment and the one necessary for the overall operation of the infrastructure, including the air cooling in the data center.
This optimization of energy resources aims to reduce our carbon footprint while guaranteeing optimal performance, which constitutes one of our first steps towards an approach of a "Green Data Center".
In line with this strategy, we have installed photovoltaic panels on our two sites and equipped our parking lots with Charging points for electric vehicles. We also intend to continue this responsible and sustainable dynamic by implementing New projects, in particular through our commitment to include SITEC in a certification process at the ISO 50001 standard (Energy Management).
Territory and economic development
Our approach to developing the Corsican territory and its economic fabric is structured around three axes :
- close collaboration with stakeholders and local ;
- support for healthy and et ecoresponsible entrepreneurial initiatives that encourage the creation of sustainable jobs and the preservation of the environment ;
- pursuit of investments in collaborative, structuring projects that generate added value.
Thus, by valuing skills and local resources, we contribute to the economic dynamism of the territory (resilience, sustainability, prosperity, competitiveness) while responding to societal and environmental challenges.
Environment, circular economy and ecology
SITEC places the circular economy and the pursuit of ecological solutions at the heart of its commitments.
We are convinced that Sustainability is not only an environmental imperative, it is also an opportunity to transform our processes in order to generate more value in a more efficient and responsible way.
In this perspective, we can resort sometimes to the purchase of recyclable and reconditioned materials (RAM / Server cards / Network equipments / Servers, etc.) and we promote responsible waste management in order to extend the lifecycle of our assets. That's why we collaborate with stakeholders who genuinely share our ambitions and who support an ecological transition of digital technologies.
Our commitment to integrating greener innovative technologies, as demonstrated by our efforts towards a "Green Data Center" model, allows us to take advantage of less energy-intensive solutions based on economic models where reuse, repair and repurposing are strategic levers of development.
Culture of corporate responsibility
SITEC is actively involved in the promotion of a responsible corporate culture.
We continuously raise awareness among our employees about CSR issues within the scope of our activities. At the same time, we also invite our partners and clients to embark on this path with dignity.
